In light of the evolving maritime security environment in this strategically important shipping corridor, the Marine Notice provides structured Flag State guidance to GB ISR-registered vessels and maritime stakeholders, emphasizing enhanced voyage-specific risk assessments, reinforced ship security measures consistent with the SOLAS Chapter XI-2 / ISPS Code framework, and the application of relevant Industry Best Management Practices (BMP Maritime Security).
