The Guinea-Bissau International Ships Registry (GB ISR) is pleased to announce the issuance of Marine Notice Nr. 01/2025, dated 03 July 2025: “Policy on the Communication of Information to the IMO under IMO Instruments in support of the Effective Implementation of the III Code and Related Audit Mechanisms“.
This Marine Notice sets out the official policy framework and strategic objectives of GB ISR for ensuring effective and timely communication of information to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), in full alignment with:
✅ Resolution A.1139(31) – Guidance on Communication of Information by Member States
✅ Resolution A.1187(32) – 2023 Non-exhaustive List of Obligations under IMO Instruments
✅ Procedures and reporting mechanisms established within GISIS (Global Integrated Shipping Information System)
The Notice provides practical orientation to all internal departments and stakeholders on maintaining a compliant, auditable, and digitally enabled reporting environment — fully aligned with the goals of the IMO Instruments Implementation Code (III Code). .
